Our swim was just simply the best this morning! Everyone was coming out of the water with the hugest smiles. It was so clear, so calm and so much to see! I saw a Turtle, Octopus, Cuttlefish, Dusky Whalers, Wobbegong, Eagle Rays and Fiddlers, Squid and Groper… but I have been lucky enough to have been in the water for 2 hours already!

The sun rose over a gorgeous calm sea around 6.30 am

Silver Sweep and Mados greeted us as we swam towards the point.
On my way back from

Shelly I was so happy to see a Giant Cuttlefish. Even though my fingers were frozen I stayed with it for 15 minutes as find them so fascinating!

I came across another friend, Lisha Mulqueeny!
She even smiles underwater

I went in with May, Cath and Sue on my second swim and we saw so much!

Eagle Rays, Wobbegong ( two together cosying up), Old Wives, Snapper… We followed a Dusky in close to the rocks near Shelly.

it was a magical, beautiful swim. Everyone was talking about ‘ aquarium conditions’.
We are so lucky to swim at ‘The Great manly Reef’!

See you tomorrow or even later today in the water!
