Bright sunny day, big smooth waves coming in around the point, active ocean all the way to Shelly, but a surprisingly smooth swim through CTB.
It looked gnarly to me, so I opted for the Shelly swim and it was glorious. The 7amers arrived as I was getting in, so I saw them off and poked in behind.
My lovely hubby is back swimming after a big enforced break, he is thrilled.
The water is still full of sediment, but still able to see the sand. I amused myself watching the seaweed wooshing with the surge, a beautiful golden wave of foliage revealing lots of fish.
Sitting here doing this blog, I can hear whoops of laughter from a group put past the point as they ride in the swell.
People everywhere walking, running, talking happy. How lucky are we?
