Monday 22/6/26 18.1ITW, 12 OTW, low tide, sunny
Wow, clear day and gentle swell into the boat ramp, just a bit crisp when you first enter the water. Around the point the water becomes balmy, you feel the cool only when you lift your elbows out of the water, but that soon goes.
Nice gentle sand patterns, that show how soft the water is – if you are looking for a big workout you’ll have to make your own as there is no pishback from the ocean.
A couple of orange jellyfish at the point, then schools of fish, flashing cuttlefish, brilliant blue gropers, and a wobbiegong hiding between two small rocks in the bay.
Perfect – calm, warm enough, and clear.
Cheers, Kerrie
