Cloudy with a touch of….

17/09/20260

OK so it was a bit cloudy this morning with a chill in the air you may thing we don’t deserve in mid September but Cabbage Tree Bay delivered its usual magic as did the coffee team, headed by the lovely Vitor on the coffee machine

Say hello to Nerissa, an original Northern Beaches resident but now living in Perth. Here to visit family and get some ocean swims and coffee in

Had to get a shot of Sue and Roger. No one swims like they do except maybe Cheryl

Happy birthday Leisa!

I heard quite a few people who said they’d seen lots of PJs this morning. I saw one.

But I also saw a cormorant and a catfish

Also the green coral that seems to be spreading  fast

Ian comimg back from a swim, with the CTB resident ghost behind him, captured in one of many of my photos. Strangely it is only captured in the air and not the water. Mustn’t have been a swimmer. Ian has green  hair but I did not see that

Many of us know the delightful Sheena O’Beirne. She hasn’t been around lately, in her words incarcerated in hospital. An amazing human, living proof that attitude is everything. Feel free to shoot her some good vibes via the medium of your choice.

Don’t forget the badge ceremony this sunday down at Shelly after the 7am swim.

Last weekend I saw one of my favourite bands in the whole world, Belle & Sebastian. At the end of the concert Stuart (the founder of the band and main songwriter) asked the audience what they wanted in the encore.I was close to the front and called out my favourite and STuart said I wish you’d said that earlier, we would have played it but how about I do the first few bars for you. So I was briefly seranaded by Stuart Murdoch playing the start of one my favourite songs ever. A highlight of my year. Here they are playing it live a few months ago
