31 ‘ticked’ Bold & Beautiful swimmers.
It was a test of the committed today with such gloomy skies, but the swim was lovely water once you got in… there were Wobbegongs, Port Jacksons and Kingfish by the dozen to keep company and the water is just soooo clear at the moment it’s magic !
Don’t forgot our Winter Badge Ceremony this Sunday at Manly Wine straight after the swim. There is a special one off breakfast with flat whites and long blacks only to ensure an efficient, smooth service for everyone. It should be a great fun morning so please come and join us for brekkie and join in the fun even if you didn’t qualify for your badge… Hopefully it will inspire you to qualify for the next one !! 🙂
Great photos from Stephen Coulter again this morning, plus some more entertaining ‘on tour’ photos below to make us envious:
Vicki Harbutt and Mahdi Deaton looking really very happy and content on tour in a cellar in Wurzburg !
Michael Appleby farewells his sister Michelle Harris and Debbie Hanson as they depart from Turkey to Greece – the lone pink cap in KAS.
Does anyone own those coronas left alone in Kastellorizo, Greece ???
ohhhhh, there’s the owners leaving the Blue Cave… who would have guessed it would be Michelle Harris and Debbie van Otter Hanson !! It’s good to see they are still swimming and that they haven’t lost any of their equipment 😉
Water Temperature 17.9 degrees – yeh right !
Air Temperature 14 degrees.
Sunrise 6.04am.
Sunset 5.52pm.
High Tide: 6.13am.
Low Tide: 11.55am.

Loving the Manly “News of the World” Daily at the moment. Classic story at the moment on the Calendar Girls of South Curly.
If a life saving club called South Curly can’t do a ‘Calendar Girls’ fundraising calendar what hope is their for North Curly and Manly calendars!

The fuddy duddys at SLSA should commend their efforts or retire and be grumpy from their balconies!

Michael – just wanted to say that your thermometer definitely needs replacing…

Et tu Brute!!!!
I am deeply wounded at all the less than subtle innuendo concerning my poor old thermometer. However I will bow to public opinion. [ if nothing else I am flexible, and sensitive to the concerns of others] What would everyone like the temperature to be tomorrow??? I’ll see to it.

P.S. There are about 10% of the group who do not have images on the daily attendance record. If you would like one put up please approach me pre or post swim and I’ll attend to it with pleasure.

Perhaps about 22 degrees? – I don’t want too much of a shock when I come back from the LA heatwave.
