Over 89 Bold & Beautiful swimmers.
11 swimmers for the final Bolderdash of the season and it really was a case of save the best for last, it was lovely. The water was flat, warm and crystal clear, as we arrived at Queenscliff the brilliant orange sun just broke the horizon – it was magic.
The regular swim was delightful too, crysal clear with lots of baby sharks, eagle rays, a vast array of fish, fluorescent blue plankton AND a very rare sight off the point, a sea snake !
There were a few jimbles and sea lice around but they were absolutely stunning swims all round this morning.
Last chance or the 10km summer badge swim tomorrow, lots of people doing it, hope to see you there don’t be the one to miss out…. 🙂
Water Temperature 24.6 degrees.
Sunrise 6.19am.
Sunset 7.59pm.
High Tide: 9.59am.
Low Tide: 4.27pm

Today’s swim was 10/10 A+, it was just magic. All the way back to the club I could see the sunrise, and was thinking how lucky we are to have the opportunity to swim every day,I am never going to take things for granted again. I am going to miss the Bolderdash and all the other crazy people that get out of bed to swim in the dark. Todays swim made me so happy, it was the best out of the season.

If it’s flat and clear tomorrow, can we swim in the ocean please ?

the only problem with tomorrow is the ‘Sun Run’ which will be finishing at the club. This will tend to “spread the love” with the club, so maybe we are better to use the harbour?? what’s everyone think??

So does that mean that the swim will be in the harbour tomorrow (Saturday 5th February) and not the ocean? Lee

Is it the Sun Run or Splash? If land based run, why not swim and emerge in Pink and run across finish line?

The Sun Run starts at DYSLSC and finishes outside the Pacific Hotel North of Raglan Street. The cnr of Manly Beach should be OK
