As previously noted, Summer is on leave for the next little while, en route to the Northern Hemisphere, leaving us to enjoy crisper mornings and snuggly attire. Hoodies, jeans and trackies are on show, soon to be followed no doubt by the thermal footwear.
Ian, Jane, Melise and Alison showing off their winter couture and their lower extremeties. Very naice.

Ocean conditions have been unusual over the past few weeks with more rips than usual. Compounded this morning by a very low tide which gifted swimmers a long walk out only to encounter some big plunging waves, making the start of the swim quite a challenge. Lots of diving under waves in shallow water. Ian nearly headbutted a big Wobbegong.
Following change room conversation I opted for the walk to Fairy Bower aka Half Way. Very calm with lots of sand making for an easy entry

Visibility just out from Half Way was virtually non existent but improved once out a little way.
At Shelly I saw Sue and Roger, coming to the end of their 4th lap.Not looking the slightest bit tired, they are amazing.

They saw a turtle near the pool, sadly I did not.
I did see a Fiddler Ray and a Groper, however

Last weekend I went to a wonderful concert by Ron Sexsmith whom you may or may not have heard of. Maybe not rockstar hot but a brilliant songwriter. He was in great form this time.
Here’s a song he wrote quite a few years ago that I can relate to.
And finally a word (or picture) from Management
