First of all, profuse apologies for the late posting. I blame an open beach, excellent swimming and snorkeling conditions and a growing preference for gentlemen’s hours (thanks Jeremy).
On the plus side I got the Rockstar parking spot.
Most people had already left. It was a stunning Autumn morning.
The flags were up so I went in from the beach. A few waves, a bit of a pull out but still an easy entry and exit.
The aquarium was at play, with a profusion of little fish
I looked for the cuttlefish without success, and was hoping to see a turtle or an octopus but did not look actively apart from just being hopeful.
But this groper in the shallows was illuminated quite nicely
As was this cormorant, intent on breakfast.
And finally this lovely eagle ray at the Point
How quickly can conditions change! From a sunny morning to this in the space of just over an hour!
Musically, this is something that came out before lots of you were born. When this band’s first album was released, 5 of the tracks were banned immediately. Enjoy
