First Friday of 2020 and spirits were high with an abundance of swimmers showing up this morning. Despite the balmy 21.3 water temperature, there were still some squeals getting into the water – that universal truth of ‘it’s lovely once you were in’ was in true effect and what we missed for in clarity, was fun to swim in a pea green soup colour with the sun almost wanting to come out to say hello.
Rumours of a Grey Nurse were floating around but the murky waters may have helped swindle the sightings somewhat…
Congratulations to Matty for making it into the blog for the first time!
Second congratulations to this newbie being signed up and helped by our great B&B volunteers
Gorgeous to see the families swimming together too
All smiles at the 6:30am start
This amazing lady travels from Dural to get to the swim! All well worth it for the camaraderie and sense of collective as we swim solo
Trio of bright colours for these 7amers
Not to mention the array of caps
Pre swim smiles a plenty
Followed by the post swim smiles
Temp: 21.3
Swimmers: 142 – felt more like 200+
Newbies: 15 (at least!)

Petra this is surely not your first blog? Because, thankfully you blurred the first photo perfectly!

Inge looks so tiny compared to those men, and that’s two people I know of who come from Dural. They should form a group. Lovely blog to read late at night 😉
