Cannot work out if this is one person or two
They say absence makes the heart grow fonder. I’ve been away from weekday swims for a month (thanks to Thursday bloggers for filling in especially Elizabeth!) and getting down here and into the water feels so good!

Spotted this cuttlefish in the early stages of senescence near the pool
On the way back witnessed further evidence of the circle of life for this fabulous creature. All its tentacles were gone but it was trying deperately to protect itself from becoming food. It may be triggering but this is the life of the Giant Cuttlefish. After mating it starts to fall apart. From being lord of its universe it ends its life by feeding the ecosystem it briefly ruled.
There’s some work going on to try to make the blanket ban on taking the Blue Groper a permanent one. Please feel free to add your voice and have a spray.
