126 Bold & Beautiful swimmers
enjoy another perfect morning together in our backyard pool.
We are so lucky to have this on our doorstop and the best thing is it’s big enough for all of us and our fishie friends 🙂

I reckon it’s clearer than most backyard pools too 😉

Some of us are lucky enough to walk to swimming, others of us get up super early and drive a very long way

so that we can all enjoy the camaraderie of swimming together

anyway you like, with whatever equipment, whatever stroke, whatever it takes so that you can join in and be a part of it, is all that’s important to us.

Everything is pointing too…

the fact that we all love being here together

I don’t reckon you can look at the photo above of John, Shaun and Andrew without smiling back at them… can you ?
afterall, why wouldn’t you be smiling, it’s paradise !

Simon took this lovely photo of a Port Jackson this morning too

10 swimmers enjoyed a double lap as a whale and a pod of dolphins cruised past, unfortunately though the swimmers were oblivious.
Ben had a great 30km swim yesterday thanks to all the support he received from his fellow B&B buddies, making it a much more pleasant experience despite his tendinitis, hence the strapped wrists. Thank you to everyone who popped down throughout the day and helped to keep morale high for both Ben’s swim yesterday and Collie’s last Saturday. Good luck Ben and Collie as you prepare in your last few weeks before you both separately smash out the English Channel in September.
Below are some lovely photos of Ben’s swim yesterday courtesy of James

Richard and Simon are swimming an early lap up to Queensie tomorrow morning at 6.30, back in time to enjoy the double Shelly lap with anyone who wishes to join them, as they are training for the upcoming B&B team in the Maui Channel swim in Hawaii on 1st September !!
A few lovely photos from yesterday’s swim also, courtesy of Brett C

Plus some new photos from local resident, Sandra Ansley who enjoyed our beautiful surprise on 24th July almost as much as we did. Sandra kindly shared these stunning action photos which she took from her balcony.

Saw a marvellous film today at Manly Cinenas – “King of Devil’s Island”, the second in their series of “Cine Arts”. It’s in Norwegian with subtitles and is gobsmackingly good. It’s on again on Monday at 1pm and Wed. at 6.30pm. Try not to miss it.

Great swim today. Perfect visibility, and so many fish.
Well done Ben & Collie, fabulous job by the support crew. Great game of netball @ Shelley yesterday.

You bet, well done Collie last week and Ben this week. A tremendous effort and augers well for both your channel attempts. We all wish the very best of luck.

A great effort Collie and Ben. Your training swims should assist well for the Channel crossing in September.
