111 Bold & Beautiful swimmers enjoying more of Manly’s magic.
If you’re looking for peace, bliss and tranquility look no further, this morning’s swim was all that and more. Heaven on Earth. Stunning, superb and totally splendid !

Yeh for swim time

Alan shared his first B&B swim with his daughter, Sarah this morning. They both swim with us, in fact Sarah is one of our great sponsors as a physio at Innovations Sports Physiotherapy but they have never swum together on the same day before 🙂

Welcome back to Michael A who is happy to be back with us after his 6 week holiday 🙂

It was Port Jackson Central this morning, I personally saw 8 !

These two were particularly up close and personal, with each other that is, not me… sorry about the creative blur…

The water was just divine. I’m surprised our bay isn’t full of tourist companies filming advertising campaigns. Don’t tell them but it doesn’t get better than this anywhere else.

There wasn’t even a ripple in sight. The two photos below are taken one before and the other after our swim, just perfect !

No wonder it was a record Monday winter turnout, it was definitely worth making that extra effort before work 🙂

There were quite a few blue gropers out on full display this morning

As for the leatherjackets, they out smart me every time…

5 swimmers continued on for a double lap and 4 of those just couldn’t resist a further triple.
4 swimmers also set off early to enjoy the sunrise en-route as they swam up to Queensie, but it was so beautiful they couldn’t resist Freshie 🙂 Check out their lovely photos below courtesy of Simon.

Happy birthday to David Washbrook today

Durn it – I’ll be in Ireland for the next Bluewater dinner. Maybe I should just dash back for the giant chocolate mousse……………

Just saw on the news that a Sydney ferry struck a whale and her calf in the harbour this morning. Hope it wasn’t our Southern Right, and hope she is not injured and wants to swim us again tomorrow!!

It doesn’t get better than today’s swim!! I saw lotsa blue groupers too… They always look so little in photos – like cute toys. Hope the whales are ok!?!??!!?

I hope the whale’s ok too. There have been several lots of two and three playing off the Bower most of the afternoon. They are definitely still around.
Hope everyone got a chance to watch ‘Curiosity’ land today. A massive technological achievement.
The swim today was SUPERB!!! It really cannot get much better than this. Flat as a billiard table, clear as glass, warm as toast and sunny as a Queensland morning. I’m all out of similes now!
The good news is that it should be the SAME for at least the rest of the week and maybe longer. Unbelievable!!
