Hello wonderful BnBers. Ok. How many times have you had to wait till 10pm to read todays blog???? Well, today is very special.
So special. In fact, the Sunday team are all over the world. Thunderbird is in the Netherlands… Sharon is being lovely somewhere, Rainer is busy being a Daddy, Gino has been blogging heaps, so it’s up to me, Emma, on behalf of the inner westies. And yes, we’re back from Scotland, the Maldives, New York and Lord Howe Island.
The water was great this morning. But it was cold. 16.9. And about 200 people. A dozen or so newbies I reckon.
Despite a warning from JK to swim close to the wall, there were no jimbles in my lane today.
In case you are wondering what a jimble is… here’s a photo. They look small (about the size of a 20 cent piece) but they HURT.
Now because we’re all nearly asleep getting ready for tomorrow’s swim…. I’ll recap the inner westies on our various holidays.
The Maldives really is perfect.

Meanwhile Fi1 and Mickey went to Lord How Island. Looks pretty fab.
Then Fi2 went to Scotland – what a lovely place.
And then I went to New York…. you may not know this building, but I thought it was amazing. It’s an apartment block built after 9/11..
And because it’s nearly 10pm, and no one will be reading this, I have a secret. I got engaged in the Maldives.
Pretty awesome. Here were are.
