51 ‘ticked’ Bold & Beautiful swimmers.
Lots of water moving around this morning, with about two thirds of the swimmers enjoying going out through the waves. Malcolm Armour took to a little cross training and went rock climbing and the rest of us enjoyed a gentle morning stroll to half way beach before submerging ourselves into the turbulent waters with all those refracting waves, to quote Sandy McIndoe 😉
A few swimmers, I think Cae Toleman, Matt Christie, David Adams and maybe others, enjoyed an early this morning, now that’s hard core !
Thanks to James Goins for the first three great photos this morning.
Last photo is courtesy of Linda Goodwin… It’s good to see that someone likes Timberlie’s birthday presents 😉
We have our monthly Manly Wine Sponsored Nibbles tomorrow evening from 6.30pm, looking forward to seeing you all there.
Tim’s fact of the day: “Left to their own devices, pearls grow naturally only once in every 20,000 oysters.”
Water Temperature 17.7 degrees.
Air Temperature 12 degrees.
Sunrise 5.39am.
Sunset 5.54pm.
High Tide: 7.38am.
Low Tide: 1.45pm.

That poor dog – I’d like to inform the RSPCA I had nothing to do with it.

Poor dog nothing, he loves it, look how happy he is. He just wants a pair of pink budgies to complete his outfit then he will be joining us in the water in the mornings 🙂

Actually Julie I was all on my lonesome on the early morning swim. I set off about a minute before David turned up!

Well… we were going to Bolderdash, but we didn’t satisfy the principle of “safety in numbers”; so Matt went for a run and I went for a swim…
It’s all good!

Great morning pics Gaetan, I wonder who poured a big bottle of dishwashing liquid into the sea?

We thought that as the surf was big and we’d have to swim behind the board riders might be a bit dangerous with only the two of us. Big waves look like continuing this week but i’m up for an early (550) sometime this week weather permitting

Hey, I saw you and shouted “Hi Iain” this morning as I rode past of the Vespa – You ignored me 🙁 Maybe i should have shouted ‘Finally’ Then you’d have known who it was. Enjoy Dubbo.

According to Magic Seaweed it will be sunny tomorrow and the swell will have dropped to 1.5m from 2.2 today. Wind will be from the north and swell will be from the east. So it should be ok, and looks like it will be even better later in the week.
