26/10/2011 – Recycled Toys

October 26, 20115

51 ‘ticked’ Bold & Beautiful swimmers.

4 people enjoyed the calm waters of an early lap to Shelly and back.

Another cloudy day, but the ocean is much calmer than yesterday with the southerly swell missing us a beautie 😉

The jelly blubbers seem to have dispersed but there were a few rouge jimbles floating around who seemed only too happy to share the love this morning.

A toy and a plastic spoon were salvaged from the ocean on this morning’s swim !!  Both items have been recycled to good homes;  Mahdi Deaton walked past with her Grandson, Tom just as the toy made its appearance and Alex Prendergast seemed a bit too happy with his new ‘toy’… see the photo below.

Today’s artistic photos are courtesy of James Goins.

B&B Steak & Trivia is TODAY !!!  See you all tonight from 6.30pm downstairs at They Steyne Hotel… it should be a great night with lots of fantastic prizes up for grabs… enjoy your last minute swatting 😉

    Tim
If a dugong is a sea cow
What is the correct term for Sea bull
    (besides tales of ocean swimming)

Collie it is my non-scientific understanding that Sea Cows mate with Bull Sharks. Due to the recent decline in the available Sea Cows in Sydney Harbor Bull Sharks have become frustrated and developed a bad name for themselves as they often get violent due to suppressed energies.
