27/10/2011 – Blue Rinse

October 27, 201124

40 ‘ticked’ Bold & Beautiful swimmers.

Another cloudy day and a slighty bumpy swim…

I don’t think there were any early or double laps this morning, instead a few sore heads, seedy appearances and plenty of no-shows instead after last night’s hugely successful B&B Steak & Trivia night.

Check out a couple of Stephen’s photos from last night below, more to follow on the website later today from Timerbie…

223 people filled out the Steyne Hotel to have a fun night with great friends and many had the bonus of going home with some outstanding prizes too, all kindly donated by our generous sponsors and supporters.

The Steyne Hotel did an absolutely amazing job, seriously, it was fantastic !!! The room was set out superbly with 22 tables of ten, the food was divine and was served with military precision.  Nothing was too much trouble, everyone worked tirelessy to ensure all of us had a fantastic night.  THANK YOU SOOO MUCH TO ALL THE STAFF AT THE STEYNE HOTEL !!!  We WILL be back… 🙂

Now, a very sincere thank you to our quiz master, John Kelly, if it hadn’t of been for John we would never of had a trivia night.  John came up with the idea at brekkie one morning and offered to host it for us if we ever went through with it.  Well the moral of the story is don’t offer anything at brekkie, ‘cos if you don’t know me by know… I will take you up on it ;-).  Seriously John, thank you, you did a sensational job and you made the night !!!  Something tells me you’ll be called on again 😉

Who next… Neil Cowin, who ran around all night making sure everything went smoothly.  Neil was a superb helper, I would recommend him highly !!

THANK YOU VERY MUCH TO ALL OF OUR VERY GENEROUS SUPPORTERS AND SPONSORS who donated all the seriously hot prizes for the night.  All the prizes, of which there were soooo many, certainly made the night a huge success – thank you !

Thank you to all of you who helped sooo much behind the scenes in so many different ways, the list is endless as is the list of helpers, but you all know who you are and I would  sincerely like to thank you all !!  Without everyone’s help it certainly wouldn’t have come together in the great way that it did.

It would however be remiss of me if I didn’t make a special mention of thanks to Maureen Rath and Annette Willows who seriously went above and beyond the call of duty, thank you !!!

Now lastly, thank you to everyone who took part, turned up, supported the event and embraced the night in such an amazing way.  The costumes were fantastic, so many people went to so much effort and the tables looked outstanding, it certainly made the atmosphere in the room buzz on a high all night.

Not only last night, but in general Bold & Beautiful’s success is thanks to all of you guys ! You always embrace and support everything and each other, not only do you guys ensure we achieve everything we set out to do, but you make sure we absolutely smash any expectations and well and truly exceed in everything we do.  You guys really are THE BEST !!  THANK YOU xxx

Fabulous night, it was full of laughter and plenty of action. The Steyne certainly did put on a lovely dinner; I’ll definately be back. Impressive selection of auction items & raffle prizes.
Stephen Coulter, you’re a star-still freaking me out as I look at the photos.
Thanks Jules & John Kelly for making the night run so smoothly.

Thanks to everyone involved in organising last night!! A special thanks to John Kelly, with the sound system against you, you still did very well and I enjoyed the questions – as I predicted I could only answer the ‘useless info ones’ – Original Charlie’s Angels actors names and so on… 😉

It’s nothing to do with not swimming and it’s all about the piccolo latte’s
I used to have mugs and mugs of flat white slapping on weight as I did.
Now I can enjoy my coffee with milk and not put on the weight due to piccolo latte’s.
My message is that everyone should have piccolo lattes then you can then enjoy the cheesecake guilt free tomorrow.
Further to this piccolo latte’s should be drunk with the pink finger extended and other three fingers and thumb grasping the glass.
    Piccolo Latte’s are the way!

Lesley how can the names of the original charlies angels be useless information ?!? It is extremely important historical data (also one of the few questions I got right)

Further to Iain’s comment: You just never know what sorts of goodies people might be bringing to brekky tomorrow …. Guess we’ll be needing some sugar after the long swim!

Thanks for a fun night last night Jules and other organisers, it was a great way for a relative newcomer to meet some of faces behind the goggles. We Stingers, we new all the answers, we just got a little distracted….
I so CANNOT wait to get swimming again: have been off sick for a week and am having withdrawals!

Thanks for a great night – lots of fun, good food and happy people!
Fantastic photos Tim. Although, it does look like you might have had to climb the walls to take some of those aerial shots. Any chance you were on the Superhero table as Spiderman?
