I must admit getting up this morning and hearing the rain, didn’t exactly fill me with excitement! Fast forward to after the swim and I’m smiling and saying “That was great!”
I aimed for the 6:30 am swim, BUT the beach parking was full!
Despite the rain, newbie Erin joins us from Canada for her first swim!
As the time ticked on, swimmers started appearing – some in ‘uniform’. Pauline has been corralling the troops to wear red and white to celebrate the Swannies journey.
As a blogger, be mindful of what is going on in every corner of a shot. Check out the left hand side of the three photos above !!! It definitely wasn’t intentional!!
The Swannies colour scheme continues….I’m not sure if the use of this umbrella was deliberate or not.
There’s always someone around to give you a helping hand down at B&B Central (one of the many reasons I love the B&B)

Photo 2. Can you spot the difference? Answer in the comment section below.
Despite the rain giving us its best effort, the sea was soooo flat. Another big tick in my B&B book!
It was soooo flat, I went in from the beach today (a rare entrance strategy for me).
I waited at the official point, but oh my, in my hibernation over winter and not swimming the point seems to have drifted somewhat…..
Stopping at the official point, I was joined by Shaun. I asked Shaun what was on the side of his goggles? To which he replied ‘They are new’. It seems Shaun had left the instructions on how to use his goggles still on them! 🙂 I hope the label didn’t slow your swim down!!!
Another plus point for my swim, seeing so many lovely fish.
Happy to report I didn’t see any Jimbles either, a BIG plus point – given this time last year I was struck on the face by one!
B & B October Monthly Dinner
The next B&B monthly dinner will be on Tuesday 11th October at 6.30 pm at Bluewater Restaurant. The guest speaker for the night will be Di Westaway, one of our swimmers and head of Wild Women on Top (WWOT). Her talk is titled “NATURAL EXHILARATION design a life you love”. Di believes that Adventure is Fun. It motivates you to get off the couch and into action. Di will explain how natural exhilaration can transform your life. Doctors call it Lifestyle Medicine. WWOT call it natural adventure. But it’s not for everybody. It’s only for people who really want to get their sparkle back and flourish in a busy buzzy world.
The cost of the dinner is only $25 a head and includes shared entrees, a selection of mains to choose (incl a vegetarian option), corkage (for byo wine only) and a little thank you for the staff. Glasses of beer or wine and desserts are also available at the special price of only $5 each. Numbers are limited, so bookings are essential: To avoid disappointment and secure your spot please BOOK HERE NOW. http://www.boldandbeautifulmanly.com.au/bb-bluewater-monthly-dinner.html

Pics a bit pervy Snorks, but a bloody good blog just the same. It was a cracker of a swim this morning as the water felt silky.

There ought to be a law against sticking cameras up people’s towels when they are hopping from foot to foot
Its the thin end of the wedgie
