Mornin’ all. Inner Westies here. And what a gorgeous morning. 21.1 degrees in the water. Lots of swimmers – few newbies and oodles of jellies in the water. But luckily the non-ouch variety.
BIG celebration for Lainey-Loo who hit 2,000 swims this morning. Yep, that’s an AMAZING feat. Photos coming below…

Walking back from Shelly with me was lovely Jane. She is a swimming coach, barrista, child care worker and wonderful independent young person.
And here is Jane again with her Dad, who swam the English Channel recently. What an achievement – makes our Manly swim seem a doddle!

Counted over 30 duskies when I rounded the point near the end of my swim. Seems appropriate that even they turned up en masse to celebrate Lainey’s 2000.
