21/05/2011 – Numb Swim…

May 21, 20116

110 Bold & Beautiful swimmers.

Fantastic turnout this morning for a wonderful swim. A little murky but we did see two flatheads, a couple of big blue groupers, a massive school of whiting off at Manly and a beautiful numbfish off Shelly 🙂

Great photo with a fisheye lens from James Goins, thanks James !

Adam from Budgy Smuggler had his first swim with us this morning and yes he was wearing the hot pink B&B swimmers !! 🙂

Anna Alvsdotter, Kelly Allen and Julie Speer saw a dead dusky whaler yesterday off Fairy Bower, they contacted Dave Thomas from Eco Divers who knew about it and sadly it has a large fishing hook in it’s mouth 🙁

Lucky me… I got to gate crash a B&B boys lunch yesterday ! Lovely… 🙂

Stephen has entered a photo of us in an ‘Everyday Lives’ photo competition. Please visit it, rate it and encourage everyone you know to do so as well… thank you.

Very cool fish eye lens. Images like these make me feel lucky to have become a part of a very inspiring group of like-minded individuals who know that life is better when you start the day with a dip in the ocean. A very big shout-out to Jules – a true leader!

100% turnout this morning, as the 2 B&B swimmers endured the 5 metre walk from their bed onto the pontoon into the vivid blue warm water.
The visibility unlimited seeing green turtles, an octopus, flutemouths, white spotted puffer fish, shortnose unicorn fish to name just a few courtesy of the Tahitian Fish Guide Book we picked up from the airport.
    Water Temperature: 28 degrees.
    Sunrise: 6.24am
    Sunset: 5.42pm
    High Tide: 9.53am
