65 ‘ticked’ Bold & Beautiful swimmers.
Beautiful swim, as usual… Now how about this for commitment – John Masters on crutches with his broken leg in plaster (and not a waterproof one) came for a swim. John wrapped his cast in a waterproof bag and because it was full of air it floated ! Very impressive John :-). I must say it took him a while to make it to coffee though, maybe the cast got waterlogged… no, the cast is still dry, fantastic John, well done !
A few super fast swimmers just slipped to Shelly and back this morning in their new Orca wetsuits !
Some fabulous B&B on tour photos from Annette Willows. A couple are attached, the rest can be viewed on the B&B on tour webpage:

The blog should have been headed BACK TO NORMAL today. I have just been reading through yesterday’s blog and I am convinced that the Manly Wine people must have put some serious mind altering drug in the coffee yesterday.
I don’t have anything further to add, except that I have an unpublished limerick left over from yesterday. It explains how our beloved Isobel became known as “Dizzy Izzy”.
There was a young swimmer called Izzy
Who with flippers could swim rather ‘whizzy’
She took off one fin
For the Dardenelles swim
Now she swims in circles and ends up quite dizzy.

John, you’re totally amazing.
Someone had a lovely holiday, especially wrestling with the guards. Just love it.

I really really wanted to get up to go swimming this morning Jules but Linda didn’t want to go. Blame her for our lack of attendance in recent days.
Ive told her ill be swimming tomorrow regardless.
God, she is a slacker sometimes.
Sorry Jules but what can I do, I think you need to have a word with her!

Tim, your nose reminds me of the one belonging to Pinochio 😀

Soooo. Judgement day tomorrow. Who’s bringing the score cards?
10 points for excellent swimming (a bit like mine), and 1 or 2 points for swimming that leaves much to be desired (like that of Nick and that Isbill girl).

That’s very frightening that the world is going to end tomorrow. I hope its not till after I’ve had my cup of tea. There’s nothing worse than an apocolypse when you are still a bit cold and haven’t had a decent drink.
I understand its going to take a while to get everyone all killed off, so assuming some of us are still around for a few days, there is quite good news for the ocean.
Swells of less than a metre and from the south, so ‘lake Manly’. Sunny most mornings, with sea temp of at least 20c. What better conditions could you have for your apocolypse?? I mean really, lets get things in perspective.
THEN ON WEDNESDAY, a massive swell of 6.5 metres. YES you read it right, 6.5m. But again totally from the south, so we’ll be laughing in Manly. Should be a spectacular ‘Bommie’ for the day, so I hope some of us are still here to see it.
I’ve been very verbose, I know, but I want to leave something for the next civilisation!

Oh dear, poor Timberli… I understand how frustrating that must be for you as you’re such a dedicated swimmer and I know how it upsets you sooooo when you have to miss a swim.
Gosh I seem to have a terrible tickle in my throat which I just can’t clear !!!
