Super hot day and a busy BNB gathering… the pics speak for themselves – it was magical! …and I can’t be bothered to write anything…
Bower fun..
Now to the most important part of the Day and the ONLY reason anyone swims these days ..
The Big Old Bleedin’ Badge Ceremony! This was for the Summer Swim badges – I think there was one for 10KM, 6KM, 3KM (seriously, is that even worth a badge??)
J.K warming up below ready to call out the names and Ian Mc who was one of the badge-giverouterers.. prepping himself… hugs are a BIG part of BNB! #metoo can’t touch us!
Roger doesn’t like hugs..he pretends to be on Tinder to avoid them..
It wouldn’t be the same without Bill McCaffeine attending just for the socialising..
We got free Keepy Cups!!
Shelly raring to go on Hug Patrol..
Shaun and Gemma …
Ian and Jo ..
John has long given up trying to avoid hugs at BNB
Shelly overdosed on hugs and got greedy..
Here’ s the rest of the hugs – it all became too much..
Pete from Jervis Bay in his St Patricks day leggings.. Midge is impressed!
But the biggest hugger of all at BNB was sadly absent.. Ian Forster!
He will be very disappointed he missed out…
Erm.. oh yeh i think we raised money for Royal Far West at the badge ceremony?? 😀

Agree. Too much hugging. Once again, middle-aged white males in powerful positions (and Shelley Keeble) taking advantage of unsuspecting swimmers. I thought we’re better than that. Disgusting.

what a great morning and badge brekkie!
Did you note that the Far West Open Day is next Sunday at 11 am. Their talks about Far West were very informative and shows the value of their work.

Where would you like to be now?

Fantastic blog, Lesley! You captured the essence of the shy, retiring folk that make up the B&B. Shame there was no time for Rainer’s PowerPoint presentation on “Long Swims with my Wetsuit Part 52”.

Nailed it!
We know it’s all sour grapes Lesbubbs because you didn’t qualify to pay for a bit of cloth and to have Shaun and Mcnaughty (of all the B&Bers!) all over you.
Always good to have you blogging!
Have a great trip all those off to NZ!

Tinder is used to light a fire. In this case the fire of passion and desire. Might be time to rewrite your profile.

Wilf and I swim at Toowoon Bay and socialise too. We have coffee before and after the swim
I am working on a Keep Kup to enable Kawphy Kwawfing While Swimming (KKKKWS) …..Olympic Drug Rules do not apply
Let me know when you are next up in the Central Coast and the other Shelly Beach, I have an Espresso Machine and a plethora of towels.
This is not to be seen as a B&B splinter group !
