61 ‘ticked’ Bold & Beautiful swimmers.
Lovely flatish conditions with slightly milky skies and ocean, so not too many marine creatures were seen on this morning’s swim.
Beautiful photos courtesy of James Goins again this morning including one of Sheri Deacon and baby bump, a brilliant photo from ground level at Shelly Beach – love it James, one of Anna Alvsdotter swimming back and Tomas Lees kicking on his boogie board inspired by Nicolee
Goins as he has unfortunately joined the sore shoulder brigade, plus a lovely happy photo of our ‘House Elf’ Michael Christie 🙂
~15 people did a second lap after our regular swim this morning and incase that wasn’t quite enough 3 swimmers, namely Brendan Maher, John Bond & Michael Christie completed a third lap – crazy boys !!
Meanwhile 3 of the cougars, namely Anna Alvsdotter, Jenny Knapman and Michelle Harris had a post swim play on their boogie boards…
Lots of happy faces and high volume cackling enjoyed by all at brekkie, love the weekends with all the extra people at après swim 🙂
Check out our awesome winter badge tracking system, something extra flash has occured today – the warning system has now been activated !! Magnus Butlin really has thought of everything, thanks Magnus 🙂
It’s telling us there are 7 weeks of winter left, with 34 qualified swimmers, 201 on target and 78 who need to swim soon in order to stay in the run in… If your name is highlighted orange it has a little message for you, but basically it is telling you to jump in the water this week !!! 🙂
Check it out, it’s super duper cool !!

Only crashed into 2 swimmers out of 60 thats 3.3 % I will have to track my score. In an ocean swim age bracket race I can usually crash into 10% of the field by the second bouy. ???

Had I cleaned up a swimmer on the second lap (which I did not) that would have been 1/15 or 6.6% I could have doubled my score for the morning.

Hey Michael Christie, I’ll probably swim tomorrow, so I can take your jacket to have it embroided if you like. It could be back Wednesday morning. Anyway, just a thought. Not too many takers for the handcuffs ?????
