February 16, 201113

Over 69 Bold & Beautiful swimmers.

A nice rolling wave at the shore and a bumpy swim past the Bower. The water temperature has spiked up slightly again, which is a very pleasant but unexpected surprise.

Who’s that in the photo this morning walking home after their swim…. that would be Princess Pilot Pete 🙂

See you at Manly Wine sponsored B&B nibbles tonight 🙂

Water Temperature 23.9 degrees.
Sunrise 6.31am.
Sunset 7.48pm.
High Tide: 7.22am.
Low Tide: 2.05pm.

Can we have an online poll:
Who wants to swim from Palm Beach to Manly either as an individual or part of a team?
    Because I sure do.

Jules, I can make a Poll, what do you want in there? What options. Chat about it later.

I think that would be great also, but it would require a lot of planning. You would have people in the water all day!!
Definitely one for the longest days of summer. Probably next year I would say.

Maybe we should be thinking about doing our OWN Bondi to Camp Cove or vice versa??? That would be fun and a very doable 10k.

Perfect, then that completes the trifecta of the heads for B&B. Lets do that one next, how about Saturday 26th March, give Jan and Kelly a few weeks recovery after Rottnest.
It’s a 10km swim followed by a beautiful lunch. We should all chip in and buy lunch for all our water safety companions 🙂
    Who’s up for it ??
Swimmers, paddlers and boat people ???

    I’ll be in that.
It’s in the same theme as our last achievements and just far enough away to get us all a rest, we’ve got to leave some goals for next summer.

Bondi to Camp Cove…..Count me in. I’m not sure I can swim 10km, but I have to do something to lose the Princess Pete tag!
    Nice photo Jules.
