13/05/2011 – Planets Aligned

May 13, 201111

57 ‘ticked’ Bold & Beautiful swimmers.

The planets were aligned and visible this morning and the water was magical !

Ross Foley said it was the clearest he’s ever swam in, all the way from the shore right through the whole swim and he even saw the sharks 🙂

Tim Ettle said he saw the most fish he’s ever seen; large schools of fish everywhere 🙂

Michael Appleby saw 6 dusky whalers, a camouflaged flathead, a giant cuttlefish and a huge school of yellowtail scad being chased by 3 large king fish 🙂

What a magnificent swim 🙂

Watch out for the new speedsters in the group as they all appear in their new Orca wetsuits over the next few days!

We won’t see Stephen Coulter this weekend as he is taking Chris Cameron-Doe to Melbourne for a bromance weekend… or it could have been something about AFL I don’t quite recall 🙂

Attracta’s son, Ciaran Wolohan, qualified for the U17 Australian Waterpolo team, he is off to Europe in 8 weeks. Fantastic achievement Ciaran, congratulations !!

Happy birthday to Jenny Holmes today 🙂

Water Temperature 20.0 degrees.
Sunrise 6.38am.
Sunset 5.05pm.
High Tide: 10.24am.
Low Tide: 4.47pm.

    Merci Gaetan,
How befitting that Venus is the brightest and Mars is at the bottom 🙂
    Go girls!

I witnessed a true Dolphin whisperer this morning –
    “Here dolphy ,dolphy dolphin.”
Unfortunatly Julies calls fell on deaf ears and they failed to make an appearance . Yes, dolphins do have ears, i Googled it.

How disappointing to have to tell you that the Galactic Azumith is considered to be “the top”. I notice that Mars is right on top of it unlike those “other” planets. Also unfortunately Venus is only ‘brighter’ as it is closer to the sun. In these days of ‘slip slap slop’ I think that indicates some thickness??
