48 ‘ticked’ Bold & Beautiful swimmers.
There were dolphins out there as we entered the water this morning and 5 dusky whalers and a flathead very close to Shelly Beach 🙂
It’s beautiful water with great viz! Autumn and winter swimming really is the best! Well apart from the brisk wind as we wait as Shelly but we don’t need to mention that do we??
Julia Baird swam without flippers this morning 🙂
Winter Badge Challenge starts in 19 days time… We should introduce a winter without wetsuit and a winter without flippers badge… !
Orca wetsuit fitting this evening, if you would like to come but haven’t yet booked in please give me a call, thank you.
Post swim chatter yesterday came up with a new B&B catch phrase: a breakfast club with a swimming problem… 🙂

Sunrise 6.38am.

Awesome feature in Sprout Daily this morning, thanks heaps Murray !!! 🙂
Marc from the new cafe at the Bower just told us he saw the dolphins swimming just behind us as we swam into Shelly this morning – damn, one time in life when you should look back !

Dolphins tomorrow definitely!!!
Swell will be from the south again, so it will be like a lake and full sunshine. With the dolphins back it should be magical.

I’m back tomorrow so dolphins for sure. Apparently they positively communicate to my high pitch screams when I get stung by a jellyfish or sea-lice (they come to laugh at me).
Looking forward to seeing you all.

Dolphins tomorrow you say? Hummm. I’ll dust the wetsuit off.
