Over 104 Bold & Beautiful swimmers.
Yet another perfect morning; flat, clear, warm water with a huge light colored Wobbegong and a Catfish off the point this morning. Lots Mullet, Bat Fish, Dusky Whalers, Flatheads and Sting Rays.
A couple of great shots of this morning’s Wobbegong courtesy of Annette Willows.
Check out a couple of photos from Anita’s birthday dinner last night, I’m sure they’ll be more to follow… 🙂
There is a charity event on this Sunday called the 20 twenty challenge. Part of the event includes teams of fours each swimming 500m from Shelly beach at ~7.30am. I have been advised that they are currently short two swimmers to make up a couple of the teams. It should be a fun race and they are offering you Brekkie afterwards :-). If you’re interested in filling one of these spots please let me know and I’ll put you in contact with the organiser, thank you.
Water Temperature 23.0 degrees.
Sunrise 6.46am.
Sunset 7.28pm.
High Tide: 9.31am.
Low Tide: 3.49pm.

P.S. What a lovely swim today. The water was as clear as I’ve seen it, warm and flat. Swimming was like rolling around in satin bedsheets[I imagine!] It really does not get much better. Let’s hope it stays this way for a month or two, as it may well do.
