14 Bold & Beautiful Swimmers huddling for cover. The clocks went back last night so there were a few B&B arriving as we finished… whoopsie. Unfortunately still armies of Blue Bottles, in fact we found one with a 10.5 metre tentacle so yet another run to Queensie and back – 3 days in a row, I sure hope that doesn’t make it a habit now !!
Margie, I understand you said hello back to us all from Switzerland via Jenny, it would be lovely to receive your comment on the blog…

Is it something they put in your food? You all woke up at daft o’clock, even more daft o’clock than usual due to daylight savings, looked outside and thought, “I know I think I’ll get up and go for a swim in that rain, gale force wind and dark sky and see if I can dodge the jelly fish more effectively today. Yey.”
No, seriously, I admire your dedication to do this every morning come rain, hail or shine. You are much braver than I.

Hi Jen, Jules and all B&B swimmers
I’m extremely envious of all the beautiful pictures and descriptions of Manly. It makes me homesick!!! I don’t like the bluebottles though so I hope that you all have your wetsuits firmly affixed!
Its truly autumn here and all the trees are coloured and look beautiful. Our Zurich lake swimmers are still going strong ..but not for much longer! I’m hoping to get a B&B visitor soon – the pink caps will look great against our beautiful Swiss mountains. Bye for now and love from Suisse!

OK Jen – this will be your new challenge – alpine swimming! Not as many nasties to avoid except when the water temperature gets above 25 and we get the dreaded sea lice!
I think you need to come here and do a B&B swim and hike so we can compare notes.
Maybe I will ask my hiking group to rename themselves as the “B&B Swiss mountain chapter. How do I get a pink cap???

I cant wait to get a pink cap!!! It would certainly stand out in the autumn fog that’s descended on Zurich (luckily its sparkling sunshine over 900 meters!)
