Brace yourselves!

December 8, 201614

It was a real “mish mash” sort of a day down at Manly. People didn’t know if they were coming or going, or if they were Arthur or Marthur. Some people swam north, some went south and others walked over to the harbour for a swim. In the end I walked to Shelly with Ted and Elaine’s dog and waited for everyone to arrive.

People were reporting blue bottles, jimbles and just about everything else.

The water looked no where near as nice as yesterday, there was a bit of chop chop and surf happening, except for at Shelly where things were calm.

I didn’t get to meet any new swimmers today but found a few people lingering at Shelly chatting. Ted found some rubbish to remove from the bay, thank you very much.

These girls were going to head north but changed their minds after hearing about stingers that way too.

Last week was the Bondi to Bronte swim with a big show of pink cappers attending. Belinda and Elizabeth got star struck by the PM so I obliged by taking their photo.

Pre swim antics:

Some fish from yesterday:

Todays yogi”s-

we all walked around for a dunk then had coffee at boat shed.

The last two pics are from the French Alps where Steve is working for 6 months, can’t wait to see snowy pics.

Lastly I got an action shot of Ian McKnight as he gets back into the swimming post shoulder surgery-well done Ian. Best of luck to Robyn Dennett as she heads into rehab soon after having her revision hip replacement on Monday.

Have a great day everyone, stay out of that heat!

Edwina.

I certainly did Ms Beach and I have the bluebottle welts to prove it. Did you not feel the ghost of my fins on your back as I clambered over you in the Pacific Challenge??

Great (but only if my pose looks better than Melise’s…I’m guessing it doesn’t)

I swam with that gorgeous guy, what a legend swimming even when every stroke brought a tear to his eye ! You should be ashamed Roger, you’ll have to buy him a cuppa tea to make it up to him.
You are one of my favorite bloggers Edwina… keep up the great blogging !
Has anyone noticed how animals look like their owners or have the same traits ?
    Freddie & Elaine ????
    Love you all
