The swim to Queenscliff started well this morning, the 1st calls of ‘Ow ow ow’ came from Iain but they were shortly followed by a number of others. The bluey’s owned the sea today.

If you are stung warm water is the best treatment.

Water Temperature 23.4’C
Sunrise: 5:54
Sunset: 20:10
Low Tide: 6:35
High Tide: 12:44

Condolences/OUCH. Can’t believe my luck at chosing today for a sleep-in, though.. Let’s hope the blueys don’t hang around for very long, especially with such tempting water temps.

Let’s look at the positive side anyway, the water was above 23 degrees and the swim was enjoyable.. until we all got stung 🙂
I heard the same winds are expected the whole week, so maybe we’ll have to swim on the harbor side, just like last saturday?
    What do you all think?

I agree – we will still meet at the Manly SLSC at 7am and then walk across.
