22 ‘ticked’ Bold & Beautiful swimmers.
Sunrise, what sunrise, it was certainly a dark and wet start to the swim this morning, which you can see from the photo of Michael Christie walking back up the boat ramp after taking the water temperature this morning before we all set off.
We were all in a tight snuggle as we waited at the point before the “let’s go” call 🙂
The swim was lovely though, of course, with flat warm water and no wind 🙂
After the snuggle bugs set off from Shelly beach and were deep in the clutches of the Pacific the flashers appeared and we all swam at the speed of lightening !!!
Ok, maybe it was the lightening that appeared and we swam like a flash… 🙂
Uhmm, there were a few extras at breakfast again this morning, Chris Cameron-Doe and Simon Eddy, apparently they didn’t swim as it was raining and they didn’t want to get wet… !
Check out the photo captured yesterday of Gaetan Guilhon filming at Shelly beach…
Check out the fabulous new B&B on tour photos of Jon & Sarah Abbott escaping the Hong Kong crowds for a Sunday swim and Sarah getting a different perspective on the lack of waves at Big Wave Bay 🙂
Water Temperature 20.5 degrees.
Air Temperature 15 degrees.
Sunrise 6.50am.
Sunset 4.55pm.
High Tide: 6.21am.
Low Tide: 12.09pm.
Uhmm…. and a lovely photo of myself pulling a very attractive face ‘courtesty’ of Isobel Kirk. Funny but I was kind of hoping this photo would disappear, but Izzy is quite adament that it has a place on the blog 🙁

Glad to be back in the water today, despite thunders and lightenings it was a lovely swim, water temperature is still very nice!

Thanks Gaetan, that’s facinating. In another article here http://news.discovery.com/animals/dusky-sharks-not-safe-at-home-110428.html, we can learn more about our beloved dusky whalers. Makes me realise we are more lucky than we thought, having that many of them around and joining our swims every morning.

Hmm! The good news for tomorrow is that the outside temperature will be 19c and the water will probably be about 21c! That’s good isn’t it??
