70 ‘ticked’ Bold & Beautiful swimmers. There were a lot more than 70 swimmers this morning though, where were all the ticks ??? You guys won’t forget to tick from Wednesday onwards when the winter badge challenge starts will you 🙂
Lovely swim, 7 dusky whaler sharks, a yummy flathead, a beautiful pale Wobbegong and a mega electric blue grouper off the point, two cuttlefish which Attratca introduced to Tomas, and a strange looking stingray, Jane what was it ??? It was sandy coloured but with a tail like an eagle ray.
Collie Kinsella, Michael Appleby, Michael Christie, Michelle Harris and Vicki Harbutt all did a double crossing today !!! 🙂
We have a new B&B song compiled jointly by Tony Elmore and Collie Kinsela this morning: “I saw my neighbour walking down the ramp, I see pink, I see pink, I see pink” 🙂

Gaetan, that Dusky video is wonderful. Mark at the OzMus would love to see it. Send it to him – he’s back from field trip in a week.
Jules, I didn’t see the ray, but your description matches Whitley’s Skate, harmless you’ll be pleased to know!

THANKS Jules! Saw your message and rushed to the beach, met James there. We got in and as we reached the dolphins the Scuba boat arrived and they left. Still a very exciting experience once again! :-))

Gaetan, your second video is even more amazing. Beautiful male 6-spined leatherjacket at 00.22, and I think a male yellow-finned leatherjacket at 3.51. Isn’t his tail fin gorgeous? You should send that to Mark too.
Jules, how about photo 2: “Keep still, I’ve got most of the dog poo off now”.

I swam/board paddled with the Dolphins for 20 mins at about 10am …fantastic…they were so playful and kept circling us and swimming under us ..great experience …I was out paddling with the ‘MLSC Dolphins’ at the time, so a bit ironic!

Wonderful swim this morning. I don’t do zips and I don’t do dog poo. I could’ve been autographing her trouser leg.

Well what a fantastic swim again this morning. The “double crossers” did a 3km swim and it was great. I could be talked in to doing that more often if it stays warm.
Tomorrow the swell will be less than 0.5m and from the south, so it should make your bathwater look rough in comparison!! Outside temp will be a bit warmer at 17c and water should still be over 20c. There will be a bit of a breeze from the south and maybe a drop of rain. So who cares with these great conditions!!
There were Dolphins off the Bower today, so with a bit of luck they may be around tomorrow, lets hope so.
Anyone who hasn’t had a look at Gaeton’s latest videos should do so. They are remarkable.
