16 ‘ticked’ Bold & Beautiful swimmers.
Oh my gosh, what a morning ! The sea was one super sized washing machine this morning !!
Lots of white water, very messy. Lots of the swimmers had good intentions of getting out through the mush but thought better of it and walked along the walkway, enjoying watching the spectacle of the rest of the pink caps being churned like confertti as they swam across the bay.
It was a very long swim over, and a super fast swim back. The wash and chop as you crossed the Bower was mega.
Apparently there were fish, although I can’t say I saw any on my one way swim back, I was too busy just surviving as boy Michel very kindly accompanied very closely back through the block of flat sized waves !
Nice huddle out of the rain at après swim this morning.

The swim to Shelly lasted 30 minutes (twice more then the usual), the currents were so strong that we really had the feeling we were not moving! But I would not mind doing it again, it was very exciting :-))
