The seas are definitely settling, in fact so much so that 4 swimmers did a double lap and ~6 enjoyed a lovely extended swim after Shelly up to Freshie and back !

It’s a shame everyone doesn’t appreciate the beautiful marine life that we are so privileged to enjoy every morning in the same way that we do… Gaetan has shared this link with us this morning indicating that people have been illegally fishing in the bay at night.  Very sad.

The Orca wetsuit fitting will definitely go ahead in Manly on Fri 22nd June at 6.30-7pm.  Please let me know if you would like to attend and I will then let you know where.

Don’t forget to set your alarms and come for a swim next Thursday morning, 21st June, to celebrate the Winter Solstice !!  Maybe even try it without a wetsuit… To mark the occasion Matt has designed you your very own, one off, B&B Winter Solstice Swimmer bumper sticker… not one to be missed.

322 people are currently on target for their 2012 winter badge – amazing !!  Don’t worry if you haven’t started your winter swims yet it’s still not too late… there are still 76 days and 11 weeks of winter left and you only need to swim 20 times over a minimum of 7 different weeks !!
