145 Bold & Beautiful swimmers
enjoyed the most beautiful and brightest conditions, albeit mixed in with a little chop just to keep it real.

Rhonda and Lee making a point of the point… 🙂

Jack (our youngest swimmer to qualify this year) and Elizabeth are 2 of 4 swimmers to qualify for their winter badge today, bringing the new total of those who have qualified so far to 138, that’s four more than last year already !!! Plus there are still another 53 swimmers on target and another 71 who need to swim soon to make sure they don’t miss out… Come on, you know you want to… there’s only 13 winter swims left so please click here to see how you’re going… don’t miss out !!

There were sooooo many fish amongst us, plenty of salps in patches too.

With beautiful sand dunes charmingly illuminated by the sun

and almost fluorescent sea grass.

Surely a Dugong would love this !! We haven’t swum with one of those here, yet… 🙂

6 swimmers continued on for a double lap, I’m surprised there weren’t a few more although the water was a little chilly.
Maybe everyone telepathically knew to rush to brekkie to share Lesley’s belated birthday cakes, very yummy, thanks Lesley 🙂

Iain set off with the support of Nicole, Gaetan, James, Cae and Miles this morning to complete the Palmy to Manly swim in celebration of his 1 year anniversary of swimming the English Channel Solo. Good luck guys, please keep us posted…
Here’s a couple of photos as they rounded Whale Beach just as we were getting ready to swim.

A tad chilly today at 15.9. What a brave lot you are, especially Rosemary in her bikini. Maybe she’s getting prepared for her Amsterdam canal swim 😉 It’s going to be hard getting in tomorrow after 24 degrees at the GB Reef! Good luck to our hardy Palm – Shelly swimmers too. Happy Birthday Lesley! (a photo that shows off your beautiful big eyes for a change!)

Such beautiful fish today. I enjoyed watching BIg Blue spitting rocks at the yellowtail.
Elaine DJ, you are such the supermodel, even with a snorkel on! Gorgeous!
