138 Bold & Beautiful swimmers
get ready for a beautiful swim, making sure everything is sitting just right, especially those ears under the caps 😉

What a spectacular morning; clear blue skies, brilliant sun and magnificent calm, clear water 🙂

Mark was rising above us all… standing on a rock so other swimmers didn’t hit their knee on it as he did, ouch !

The half way dance was in full swing at Shelly

as were all the smiles

Lizzy and Yvette think they’re on holiday in the Greek Islands. To them they are, as they travel over from Balmain to swim with us every weekend 🙂

Whilst it looked beautiful above the water

It was sensational under

With a little ‘giant’ cuttlefish

and a Gnome on P plates !! 🙂

Another spectacular swim 🙂

With only 6 days left of winter, 170 swimmers have qualified for their 2012 winter badge, and another 36 are still able to bring it home. Please click here to see how you’re going, don’t miss out now… !
14 swimmers continued on for a double and 5 of those tripled. Meanwhile Ben and Collie set off at 6.30am a little further up the coast, enjoying their last big swim before Collie heads off to take on the English Channel solo, closely followed by Ben (photo courtesy of their land contingent, Brendan). They will be joined half way through by Alex and James and plan to finish up at North Curl Curl around 11.15am to enjoy some fish and chips on the grass. If you’re up that way and would like to join them please do, they would be most happy to see you 🙂

Charlotte’s B&B bib, courtesy of Maureen, is still going strong 1 year on, for which mum and dad, Debbie and Magnus are very grateful 🙂

Matilda Cameron is also looking beautiful in her new B&B jacket, again courtesy of our ever talented and generous angel, Maureen 🙂
Congratulations to Sophie who gave birth to our newest B&Ber, and her’s and Geoff’s beautiful 3rd child on Thursday, 23rd Aug, Lily Jasmine Coombes 🙂 Congratulations Sophie and Geoff and welcome to the world little Lily!

Stephen Coulter left for Hawaii yesterday and will be joined by the remainder of his team, Adam Moore, Bruce Baird, John Bond, Richard Agius and Simon Cowell later this week as they get ready to take on the Maui Channel together on Sat 1st September !! 🙂
Also next weekend, the Sydney Magazine will be publishing the article featuring Anna Alvsdotter talking about the benefits of group activities and in particular B&B to the individual, don’t forget to look out for it !!

have the whole restaurant to ourselves, but… we can still take more, so don’t miss
out – please book in here

choose (incl vegetarian option), corkage (for byo wine

Wow!! How good was that today! More of the same tomorrow, with full sunshine, a continuing light westerly breeze and flat as a steam iron. Also the water really isn’t that cold at nearly 17c. Doesn’t get better than this.

Ben and Collie successfully completed their 5 hour swim this morning and were dutifully accompanied the whole way by Iain as chief paddler and Nix as the ever dedicated chief handler 🙂
