enjoyed a ripper of a morning, absolutely stunning conditions !!
We didn’t even notice the chilly water as we were all so excited that ‘Badge Day’ has finally arrived !! 🙂
Not to mention the warmth being radiated from Ted and Elaine de Jager’s romantic swim as they celebrate their 22nd wedding anniversary 🙂

6 swimmers enjoyed the early 6.30 dawn lap but there were no doubles afterwards as were were all too excited to get to our badge ceremony…

and to Whitewater for hosting us and turning out 200 brekkies so

Please join us at Murray’s in Manly this Wednesday from 6.30pm to enjoy a special B&B evening with happy hour priced house beer and wine and complementary nibbles to share. This is going to be a regular monthly occasion being held on the second Wednesday of every month. We’ll be gathered at the back to the left of the bar, so please come
down and enjoy a cool drink with your fellow swimmers. You can stay for
dinner too if you wish, as Murray’s are also offering B&B swimmers
10% discount on all food at all times when you show your B&B discount card (which you can get from me any morning at swimming).
Next monthly B&B special $20 Bluewater dinner is on Monday 24th September, bookings are essential so please book in here asap.

Thank you Jules for a lovely morning, I had such a splendid time and am so excited with all my badges…. I haven’t had this much excitement since Girl Guides. (Clearly, I should get out more.) Can’t wait to receive my new jacket so I can dress myself in them.
Thank you to all the helpers, and thank you also to all my old and new friends that help make my mornings wonderful.

What a fantastic morning! Thank you so much Jules and Michael for making it all happen (and the amazing ‘Back Up Crew’, Lesley, John and Ian.) I am also so excited about my badges but know they were gained through luck and a bit of bravery. The distance badges require stamina and speed but I’ll be trying for that 6km badges (just need to find the extra long flippers!)

Fifi, I didn’t do Scouts, but it amazes me the motivation of the badge on myself and all others swimming!
A great swim and presentation today. Thank you so much to Jules, Michael and all others that make this healthy and uplifting gathering possible and so special on a daily basis.
