88 Bold & Beautiful swimmers
Had a real fun swim this morning. So much water moving around and in no particular direction !

One minute you’d be at the bottom of a trough

The next you’d be rising high

It was the ‘rolliest’ swim we’ve had in a long time, hence the inspiration from Matt for today’s very appropriate Nautical title.

It was as calm and protected as ever once you got to Shelly though

Despite all the swell and backwash there were still a load of fish braving it out there amongst us including a massive school of whiting just in at Shelly and lots of Garfish just off the point.
There was a fun wave to finish if you got yourself in the right spot too.

Stephen fulfilled his promise to some swim groups he joined whist in LA last week, by wearing their colours on a B&B swim with us. The Sea Monkeys and a Salt Lake Swim. Let’s hope we see some more of our swimmers visit them and theirs come and visit us 🙂

Some lovely happy photos taken by Stephen this morning

Plus some great dynamic photos from yesterday’s swim taken by Simon

You guys are the best !!! In three days our B&B Fundraising Trivia night

A good effort Caroline.–its not often so scary.
Heh men– be carefull —we are about to be sorted and devoured by a table full of glams .I was privy to the wishes of our most discerning .
We must put up a fight albeit oh so weak !!
I found that removing my fins before coming in at half way was best ,and keeping an eye on the waves. I also found that once at the beach ,standing sideways reduced the force of the waves.

Mr McDonaugh you didn’t join us for a cycle ride to West Head that was sooo hard and sooo hot. Unfortunately Judy and I were outdone by the young men inc Wilf, John Ma and John H. Thank you soo much to Joan Isbill who I had to employ on my behalf as a Holiday Letting Meet and Greeter!
It was a fantastic swim today, loved it, always different, always exciting! Thanks for the ‘happy photos’ Stephen and the head bobbing one Simon. Sorry Sharon I must be high up on the spreddies now!See you all tomorrow!
