Huge congratulations to Julie and Robin. Yet another proud moment for Mother. Wish I could have been there. Rob and Michael you must have a lot of patience to put up with the moans and groans whilst training. 😍😄😊😃😍. Well done.

Thanks Joan. We are pretty happy to have finished.
Michael has suffered a lot the last few months in relative silence.

Well done Jules and everyone – that is an amazing thing to do.. 42 kilometres!! I wonder how your legs will feel tomorrow?? – you will need a dip in the freezing cold Melbourne sea? – I think you all should go in and send us pics for the blog! 😀

Jules Isbill is an inspiration to us all. She really pushed herself way out of her comfort zone to run and run she did, 42 kilometres! (That’s running past a lot of trees Jules!) Amazing achievement! I suppose I have got to ditch those flippers now…

Thanks for doing the marathon with me Julie.
Thanks to Pete and Sheri for making the idea of running 42 km in Melbourne seem appealing 😱.
Thanks to Michael for his motivation of Julie to do it and encouragement of both of us to keep at it.
It never occurred to me that I should do a marathon before.
