Watch us here !! A story captured beautifully by the Daily Telegraph, all about us 🙂
66 Bold & Beautiful swimmers including 10 Bolderdashers
enjoy calming seas with occasional nice rolling waves amongst a cloudy back drop this morning.

We cross paths with the early lappers as we get in, not able to convince them to do a second lap…

so embrace the waves instead. Forwards, sideways, backwards… which ever way you like

to get you out to the calm, swell waters at the point. Where everyone got a little excited this morning as we were all so nice and snugly together.

A great swim ! Calm waters and no stingers. What more can we ask for.

Rob was happy to have seen a juvenile dusky right in close at Shelly 🙂

and Russell’s got some friendly green competition now Pat’s back from his travels

I bet if you chose not to swim this morning you’re not this happy !!
You know you shouldn’t stay in bed even on these grey mornings…

Interesting things our swimmers get up to during the day… a new use for your B&B cossies, they double up beautifully as a sun hat !

Happy birthday to Anne Edwards and Robert Sabato today 🙂
The 3 Points Challenge is coming up on Sat 1st December. It’s a unique event combining 3 surf swims, one at North Curl Curl, South Curl Curl and Freshwater, interlinked with 3 cross country runs on a course that takes competitors along the eye catching coastline, the ideal distraction from the task at hand.
The event is run by North Curl Curl SLSC and their charity partner is Starlight. Watch a small video clip here of one of Starlight’s wish children, Murray who recently received a double lung transport and soon hopes to be well
enough to plan some overseas travel. Murray’s been a part of Starlight
most of his life, as have many thousands of children across Australia.
There are lots of our swimmers taking part in this event, if you’d like to join them more details and registration can be found here
Upcoming B&B social functions:

A long as I don’t grow a big bushy beard as well, we may be able to avoid confusion!!!

David got more than he bargained for when he joined the ladies beach volleyball team as kit attendant.

Thanks for the birthday wishes. Managed to evade a song at Shelley with a late early swim. Max and I tagged along in the wake of the early birds. (Thanks for the swim, Max!) Great little waves to catch while the seven o’clockers were doing the hard yards. Rob, can’t believe we have the same birthday!!

I think a night swim with glow sticks is a great idea Jules! Maybe we could make it a Christmas Swim by Candlelight and have a few bevvies afterwards. I know some of the guys will probably want to make it a Skinny Dip or WWW. (Willies without wetsuits!) but cossies should be allowed!

Blatant lack of interesting lips in today’s blog..
Forecast for tomorrow is great: sunshine, light offshore winds, and possibly even a pod of mullets if SS is lucky.

Happy Birthday Anne & Rob S! Glad to hear you’re back in the waves these days, Anne!
Ali, you look lovely – yes, we all look “pregga’s” next to E-lane, but at least you have a good excuse:-)
Rainer, I’d like to hear how your lips are recovering – a daily update please!
Nicole, do hope you’re well on the mend. Let us know how it’s going! So glad it wasn’t more serious.

I tried a couple of other replies but they got screened by the parental controls on my PC. Sorry to disappoint.
