My last blog for 2012!
Where does the time go?

This morning was flat, warm and unstingy (for most people) and it was busy, busy busy. Ive been B&B swimming for a few years now I can honestly say this is the busiest time ever.

So onto the photos.
Todays blog is proudly been compiled by Iggy. He has to earn his keep so we taught him to use a Mac and how to blog. Please excuse some of the typos, his paws cant quite hit the keyboard accuratly.

Say CHEESE

LOTS of swimmers today! Lots. Youd think it was a free activity or something.

Dont get fooled by the rocks that she’s got, she’s still she’s still Jenny from the block

Sharky Costume

A few underwater shots of B&B swimmers bustin’ some moves.

Nick trying to touch his toes……but his arms are too short.

It was very clear at the point today, you really did see all sorts of creatures you dont normally see.

I saw the very rare Manly pygmy Hippo fish. Its fast, blink and youll miss it. keep an eye out for it tomorrow!

You know the water is warm when there’s hardly a wetsuit in sight.

Hi Cath, How are you?

The HOBBIT in cinemas now!

Nick (The Brick) is a man of many talents, just ask the women of the B&B!

Not only does he work full time, he is also a Personal Trainer and in his spare time does look-a-like competitions as Magnum PI. The likeness is uncanny I know. ……Go Nick!

NYE
Its not long now, New Year’s Eve’s Eve
is on its way, who’s watching the fireworks tomorrow? Who’s going to the city?
If you are considering going out and about for NYE take a look at the ‘Official 2012 Sydney New Year’s Eve Website’
a shameless plug I know but It’s a project me and my workmates have been working on for a while now.
http://www.sydneynewyearseve.com
There is also an App you can download for free.

Last year only 50% of the regular swimmers turned up at 7am on New Years Day. Its pretty clear NYE celebrations makes getting up and down to the beach a little bit harder. Drink lots of water, eat lots of food and set your alarm that little bit earlier ( that way you can’t fail to wake up)

Finally – another reminder that any help, (board paddles, driver or beach support ) is appreciated for the 10KM Jan swim. Talk to Johhny Bond if you can help out.

Over & Out for another week.

Iggy.

Fish are over rated and sooooooo 2012.
In 2013 it’s all about the year of the swimmer.

Well done Iggy for blogging today! I tried to be a Blog Tart a few times without success!
Love the photo of the Manly pygmy Hippo fish but he looks very similar to one of our regular swimmers 😉
Annie’s smurf suit has been found some of you will be pleased to hear! Missing Little Sarah already 🙁
Thanks for doing the attendance Simon. It is taking a team of about 15, many hours to do what Jules and Michael have done for ages. Now we realise how much time and effort they have put in to make this such an amazing group!

    Hey LL
Agree totally regarding the help for the king and queen.
Dont agree with you regarding blog tarting. You are one of the best. I have it on good authority that Queen tart Snorkles had a tactic of hanging around you to get some points.
Exploited your camera magnet skills to the max.
Keep going at it. Just ask Snorks how your points are coming along. Hehehe

Thanks Dolphin Whisperer, I didn’t realise that was why Snorkles was hanging around me! I’m surprised we haven’t been inundated with Tart on Tour photos of her in her pink cap in The White Horse, Nags Head and Dirty Duck pubs etc! Yes she is way behind on the Spreddy. Maybe we should start a new, more inclusive one from Jan 1st. You can be in charge of course DWSS!

Thx to LL, Jenny H, Jules and all for the good wishes…. after the paradiso swimming with the group every day for our 28 days in Manly (inc 2 6K and a dozen or so B’crawls!!!!!), a shock to wake up today and just…. rest and eat!
Brucy, as of yesterday, I managed to get sandwiched between you!!!
John B, pleeease NOT the day we arrive back on 2nd Feb – after a month’s rest, I want to give it a go!
Dear Leader, Congratulations! You’ve got your work cut out for you….. as I said to Jules, Med School will seem like a holiday for her after running the B&B:-)
Timmy & Iggy, I can tell you’re missing me already and having to resort to desperate measures.
