Candy tried to jump from the top of the ramp straight into the water (Crazy stuff)

John & Izzy did stuff together.

Some went in at the beach

Lesley did too

Her twin got in at half way

Always wondered about the “Beautiful” in Bold & Beautiful?

Waves were waving

We always lend each other a helping hand

And we ate cake

Thanks to Danni!

Sparkles was a big fan

Then we ate brekkie!

Great work Robster, showing us a simple blog can still catch the spirit of a great swim! Love the ‘helping hand’ pic! I loved the surf today and my sting is much better. Thank you so much to everyone for being so caring xx Excellent effort Rotto swimmers!

Congratulations to all the Rottnest swimmers, by all accounts conditions were difficult.
Michael Chistie is now officially a legend (not just in his own mind :-)) after his fifth successful Rotto crossing. Seriously, what a great effort Michael, after almost 10 hours of swimming.
Michael Teys, Cae Tolman, Rob Taylor and El Prendergast all got across in great times.
Rowan Webb, The Animal, 8th overall in 5 hours 6 minutes. Awesome.
Robin Turner was made to get out by the organisers because he didn’t make the 18km cut-off time. He had only 1.7km to go and 70 minutes to get there and was still swimming strongly.

What a wonderful swim this morning !
Was very gentlemanly of drinks, Simon and David not to sprint off and leave me…loved the sounds of Simon cackling through the waves.
dolphin whisperer did a very bold start today, heading out at 6.15 no doubt with all his dolphin friends.
Congratulations Michael and the rotto guys, well done all of you

Is anyone interested in coming with me to Seb’s charity event on 8th March? I think it would be great if the B&B group could raise at least $500 by getting 10 people to go.
Camp quality is an amazing charity and it would be awesome to help Seb reach his target of $100,000. We even get drinks and food for our donations 🙂
