108 Bold and Beautiful swimmers enjoyed slightly less chop today with still some fairly big waves hammering us as we entered the water but nothing so scary (for me at least)!
Water cooler too – by about 2 degrees…
Waiting at the point Elaine found a baseball cap with barnacles and seaweed growing on it – it’s own little eco system – but the best part was, written on the cap were the words LIVE SIMPLY – very fitting for the ‘skinny’ blog today!
A bit less rubbish in the water today too – I only found 4 pieces of plastic…but I did find half a tv on the beach (I put it in the bin!)
Visibility was about 3 metres – and the last 200 metres coming into Shelly the sea bed was visible again!
Although it looks like the end of the week the weather, stong winds, bigger seas and more rain! Awesome!

Stephen spotted this in the Financial Review yesterday about BnB swimmer Tony Stuart. Amazing…even in a financial newspaper about technology and apps we get a mention!!
And glad to see he reads the blogs!! How is today’s more skinny version Tony? 😀

An incredible sky just before sunrise – well worth being on the beach before 6.30, the earlier the better. Best part of the day!
That’s the incentive for the last ‘official’ bolderdash tomorrow…..
Lips, missing my swim-buddy. I hear you’re missing maggots and seaweed and all we have to offer as you laze on your Hamilton Island sun-bed:-)

Lesbutt has put together a fantastic video of our swim last Tuesday but is a bit shy about putting the link to it on the blog. We want it don’t we guys?

ok here it is … remember it was filmed on a basic normal camera – the music is the best part – if you watch without music and it’s crap! :-DD

Seen it already. Sent link to my sister in the US. She wants to swim with us when she visits next month. Stop being so modest.

Well done, Les – it’s beautiful! Now, why not join us for a super-slow last boldercrawl in the morning for another one?

Hi Pretty Leslie
If this is the one I’ve seen, it’s great and you’re talented and very pretty and have great choice in music!
Share it to the world!! (or the B&Bers)!

Still looking for a few more people to go to the 100things.com.au charity night at the Steyne on March 8th. Email me at rob@bobbyjackinternational.com if you are keen. $50, all going to charity and you get 4 drinks and food for your $$.
Great charity, surely we can raise $500 between the 4,000 of us!!??

Jen there is no B&B management. Never has been, never will be. When i wrote that on comments a few weeks ago it was tongue in cheek ..a joke..because i thought bnbwannabe was one of our regular swimmers mucking about with us. Please refer back to your reveal comment on skinny swim day.. And see what i wrote…and a few other people also replied to your comment. We look forward to meeting you..come and swim with us soon 🙂

I don’t know who’s been delegated to do what with Jules away. The B&B Management sounded a believable term for the operational arrangements.
I did at first take the comment as tongue in cheek, as was my reply. Aren’t most things on the blog? Despite this, there was an uneasiness that maybe this was real and I had gone over the line and my presence was becoming a ‘problem’. Going through the archive of my comments on Typepad I thought I’d established myself as a genuine person. The pressure to ‘reveal’ myself (get down and do the swim) was increasing. Not a good idea when you have a bit of a panic attack trying the halfway on your own. I was getting around to asking for a swim buddy.
Being blocked on the Typepad nailed the meaning.
The string of welcoming invitations to come and swim after ‘revealing’ myself and producing a real name was weird. Never had that as B&BwannaB. Hence, my to the B&B Management email. Didn’t mean to get Jules into this. Didn’t know who the contact was for this sort of thing.
I can partly understand how my identity was misconstrued.
I’ll repeat my comment that disappeared from the blog.( 26/02/13).
It hurts.
