Another very HMAS Success(ful) week here in Man-town, folks – and we’re only just getting started!
With the long weekend ahead of us – all the guys are talking about the Sea Eagles Grand Final and the ladies about the One Direction concert.
Throw in a whole lot of 28c-29c days this week and it’s all looking pretty good!
The sunrise was slightly delayed by the clouds on the horizon..
Now I normally wouldn’t mention this – but for a Friday it was chhhhhhhiiillllllllyyyy!!
Sorry Nic – it’s a little what?
Here’s Ian and Pauline with the rest of the Forsters..
There was a shortage of teddies this morning so the girls were snatched instead…
The water was 17.7c – so the only one way to deal with it is dive straight in….
At first i thought this was a clown fish at Shelley – but on closer inspection, it turned out to be a Taylor….
There was more mullett than a Billy Ray Cyrus show….
and some of my favourites…. 😉
This Sergeant baker is here for the Naval Review – He was so big he may be promoted to Colonel..
Annie conducted a review of the fleet…. hoping Prince Harry might see….
…and he did! … and here he is waving back….
A flypast to top it off….
Stats:
140 Swimmers
2 newbies
17.7c
5:28am Sun up
5:59pm Sun down
Have a great weekend everyone – there’s plenty on!!

Welcome back LSA! It is gr8 to have you back… The sun shines brighter and warmer when you are around.
Great to have molly and family from the deep south too. Good “Let’s go” Molly.
The girls want to warn all board paddlers about Shaun the board tipper and also if you have a teddy he is likely to grab it too
Have a good day all

Thanks Mark! The best welcome this morning was from Jazz (with zz, not ss) and Laura as they ran down the beach to give me a hug and tell me all about the Teddy Snatcher:-)

Thanks to all the swimmers today for making the kids welcome. Molly would like to let Uncle Ian know that she will get him next time and to John he may need to swim faster. Can’t wait to come back. Hopefully the twins might have another paddling partner in crime x the Mexicans down south where the water should be warmer

Did anyone else see the huge graceful Eagle Ray at the point this morning?? An absolute beauty gliding around the sea grass. Just as well I shared the sight with Little Tiger 😎

Thanks Mark.
The girls know the rules,
Hand the teddies over and no-one gets hurt.
No teddies,then hostages get taken.
Jazzy and Laura, I’m impressed with the grimace on both your faces and your determination to get away.
I think its time your teddies get signed up, put on the pink cap and come for a swim.
Ill even tick them! Thats legal isn’t it Ian?

Great blog !
My favourite photo of the year… I just LOVE the photo of Laura and Jassie clearly hating being taken hostage by Shaun 🙂

Wonderful fish pics as usual Nick. Try Mark with the “Lieutenant” Baker – not sure what the OzMus photo is like. Let’s have a look.
