Back blogging on another glorious Sunday! Just before I rush off to lovely Bowral for three days….so let’s get into the water and enjoy our swim!
At the moment I only get to swim on Sundays ….and look what happens? It rains! Still 104 of us lovely people decided the rain wouldn’t stop play.
But at first, I thought the rain had scared the B&B’ers off…where is everyone? Very confused….which isn’t great at 6:30am on a Sunday morning.
Surf something or other on today, so we have kindly given up our spot and sheltered under the trees.
Stairs…..
Some of us (ok, maybe just me) headed for Fairy Bower and Jane, may need that OzMus to help out again…any ideas on this fish? I swear it even waved at me!
And finally at Shelly and great to see a solo blog tart effort from surprise Sunday guest Annie.
Always great to welcome newcomers, today we had a total of four newbies, one photographed here. Welcome.
No.2 – guess the back competition?
No.3 what do these two have to do with each other?
The Jellyfish
I’d like to point out no one suffered on the Lips Steps of Doom today, zero injuries recorded. Which makes you wonder what on earth was he doing on that day? Well apart from trying to run hastily up them after hearing of Rusty’s hot shower invite. I’ll leave it there.
*Photo evidence of B&B’ers managing to walk up the steps without injury.
B&B on tour…..here’s Craig Mellis working the pink pretty damn well in

Staying safe
Remember that there are no badges for scaring yourself silly! While it is great to extend your boundaries, it is important to know your limits. Do read these excellent tips on staying safe in the surf. To read, or even download, click here.
Bold and Beautiful Swim School
Sarah Anne Evans, B&B’s official Pacific Jules swim coach, has organised a group swim school at Shelley Beach for any willing B&B swimmers who want to improve their style. The cost is $30 and it’s limited to 15 people. During the 90 minute session Sarah Anne and Warren Evans will be covering how to swim with more efficiency, flow and speed! If the water is clear and calm enough they will film each person for feedback after the session via email.
The three schools until end of year are full, stay tuned for 2014 dates.
If you would like to book in you should call or email Sarah Anne and you will be sent further information, including the date, time and payment details. Phone 0420 923 067 or email info@pacificjules.com.au
If you receive this blog in your email and want to comment (which we bloggers LOVE!) – click on the Date and Title.. and that will take you into the blog itself – you can then comment at the bottom..

Nice blog Snorkles. Looks like a bit of an adventure today- shame I missed it, the rain and a few too many glasses of bubbles last night made my bed too good to leave!!
Will see you soon

Great blog Snorks, love the shots of us swimming in at Half Way. Did you stand on the wall? They look to be taken quite high up, or maybe you’ve got a boyfriend in the apartment above the restaurant 😉 Well done on your fishy pics including the rainbow kale, glad he’s still around!

Love the shots of swimmers respectfully walking down Lips’ Ladder, honouring the legacy of all those brave BnB souls who came to harm at this treacherous spot over the years.
Snorks, I’ll have you know the wave the waves were humongous on the day of my accident. Nothing like the spa resort conditions you witnessed today.

I’m just exceptionally tall Elaine, legs as long as…..ok maybe not! I threw my camera up in the air and pressed the delay timer, clever hey?

Maaate, thought you’d be with us on Sunday for the Nippers Festival. I brought some German medicine sent by my mate Lothar in Stuttgart. Let me know when you are back.
