A bit bumpier today with a few gentle waves coming in, but.. ‘even more fun with lumps,’ according to Jeff with a J! Another beautiful morning down at Cabbage Tree bay with water 20.4 and the air a balmy 19 degrees! Even Miguel Maestre, the ‘Crazy Bull’ and celebrity chef is getting addicted to this amazing daily drama!
And Phil (above) made it on the blog. I love it when people ask me if they can have their photo on the blog because their Mother or daughter or whoever, read it in another country! Don’t be shy just ask. It’s great to hear how people all over the world are interested in our swim!
The Drinks Express head out, loads of them again today!
Here they are at Shelly!
Booty Camp is very popular too!
My blog days are a magnet for ‘Blog Tarts’, even Mary is getting quite tarty!
A ‘Quicky Blog’ today as I’m working very soon, but I might add to it later in the day. Just added more photos of entrances in the water including a close up of the ‘Crazy Bull’ and Suzie goes all the way for the first time. well done Suzie!
Iain and Kylie are training 20 kms a week for their swim in aid of Bear Cottage along with more B&B swimmers. Thanks so much everyone who baked or bought at the cake stall last Saturday. Donations still gratefully accepted.
Three of our favourite swimmers, Jill back from Honkers, Sparkles and Fifi. Fifi is trying to start a fashion craze mixing print, flowers and stripes all together!
As I am SO fast today 😉 I manage to get shots of the first swimmers coming in after the swim 😉 These are the ‘winners’ coming in, Fast Brad and Speedy Gonzales the Spaniard (and Anna of course 😉
And the next lot. Well done Scotty and Dave without wetties!
These ladies probably would have come first but they enjoyed catching waves as they came in. Ella says, “It was so much fun today with the waves!”
Just a couple of shots when the water was a bit clearer a few days ago.
The Duskies were seen today but visibility wasn’t good. Here’s one from Monday.
I’m trying to do the ‘Finger Trick’ with the cuttlefish! He does start to turn up his tentacles!
Who’s the mermaid?

It was a lovely pre-dawn swim in our choppy bay this morning. Thanks to Sylvia and Reg for company coming back on the waves into the beach. And lovely photos and blog Lainey! (I’m making a surreptitious comment as I sit in a meeting at work!)

Submitted at 9:36am. I call that quick!
Compare that to your ‘app blogging’ Lesbubbles: 3x blurry dog photos accompanied by two poorly composed sentences submitted at 11am.
Elaine, thanks so much for another great blog. I think I swallowed a piece of Ted’s cling wrap on the way over.

A great blog. I like that you have got the cuttle fish to pose with you. It was a hard swim with lots of waves today but good to do.
