While struggling to hold a particularly difficult yoga pose a few days ago, the instructor made the statement, “it’s just a silly yoga pose; don’t turn it into a story.” By that she meant avoid building a story around your struggle. Instead look at what you are doing and revel in your ability and participation.
The stats are telling me there were a total of 95 B&B’ers revelling in today’s crisp conditions.
Some did the pre-dawn warm up with Booty Camp. Perhaps, Ian is telling stories about the fish he saw. From the expressions, I don’t think anyone believes him. . .
When you are welcomed with a smile like this one, all reasons to struggle evaporate.
Today’s challenge was to plunge into 16.4 degrees of beautiful clear water as the sun peeped over the horizon.
Looks lovely don’t you think?
David’s face says it all.
While wetsuits are more common at the moment, there are still the brave few who continue sans neoprene.
These are the only regular swimmers I saw at the point! Not much waiting going on. . .
You could mistake this for high tide at Shelly given that only heads are showing. I can assure you, it was most certainly warmer under the water.
Never daunted by the conditions, the Shelly Pushers put on their display of core and shoulder strength.
And this first time swimmer with JK is very cuffed that she joined us today – and without a wetsuit!
A Cuttlefish was spotted around the rocks, but today it was a bit camera shy and hid under a very large rock. . .
The other regulars were all there.
Did you realise that on Monday our time, it is 45 years since the landing on the moon? Must be time to rewatch The Dish!
And if you are looking for a lovely warm yoga studio, do go to Power Living. They are a fabulous sponsor of the B&B providing a great discount when you flash your B&B card.

Couldn’t believe the number of swimmers braving the cold conditions this morning including a very large Drinkless Express contingent!
Incredible that you can still take underwater shots, Mary! Brrr… and I love cycling from the swim straight into Power Living to warm up and then returning for brekkie. Been doing that quite a bit recently:)
