Tactics

18/09/20142

This morning my 13 month year old woke up after 12 hours of sleep at 6:30am calling out for Dada. Not a bad way to wake up… and hence I was able to get down to the swim as the 6:30am Drinks Express was coming in. Of particular note was how, unlike the 7am main game, the warm up match all come in as a tight bunch around the rocks. Well led Drinksy…

There was a lot of affection this morning between Big Rod and author, executive coach and long time Manly identity Pete Anthony…

Many of us were worried that we would never be able to replace Dreamboat Dave. I mean how are you going to find a handsome, funny, wealthy businessman who lives on Bower Street and is an A-Team level swimmer? Oh hi Buck.

If you get a chance ask him about tactics. Always changing… never give too much away… the art of surprise…

In all seriousness it has been a topsy turvy week for many of us. Dave is gone, Manly Wine is closed while being refurbished, Half Way Sterling Scroll Back Brain has been in hospital (all well now) and the water temp has been all over the place. As some things change… at least some things stay the same.

Much love, the Bishop!

Great swim and visibility. Anyone know how cold it was. Felt fair fresh to me.
