Peter and Justice: Justice grew up on the East Cape, RSA, and eventually became a sports psychologist. He moved to Sydney four years ago.

QUIZ: Can you recognise this arm? It contains a torn rotation cup, but is still up for a swim. Nice goosebumps!!

Hi, Ash. She was in Carlile Swimming Club years ago, and is trying to regain swimming-strength. Her best time for 50 metres freestyle was 29 seconds, in 2005. They would swim six kilometres per training session, eight times a week. Plus a couple of gym sessions. Up in mornings at 4.30 a.m. for training from 5 to 7 a.m. (Count me out.)

Off to the ceremony …

The crowd swelled – and the Show began
