Lainey here, back blogging after a few weeks break. Filling in for our amazing, newbie blogger Roger Dodger today. He alternates Fridays with marine photographer Professor Dawkins. Wasn’t the Tuesday night ‘presentation’ at Bluewater fantastic! I was so pleased to hear I’m on the top of the B&B hierarchy ‘Org Chart’ as Head of Matchmaking! There was mention that I was out of business but this blog proves I’m back! It’s pretty easy guys, if you are interested in an ‘s’ see me! (If you are interested in a ‘t’ (taken), I don’t want to know about it 😉 )
This is The Drinks Express at 6.45am, loads of them!
Sunrise at 5.45am was stunning!
It was packed very early on, at the best place to be, Manly Beach… with runners, dog walkers, boxers and of course Booty Campers!
Anna and Bernard …
There was quite a large very early ‘ break-away’ group. Well done Jonny Abbott getting a photo bomb in! Irish Rob on the right has a birthday coming up I hear and so does Shady Shaun far left.
Here they are heading out at 6am
The predicted warmer weather brought a lot of swimmers out! I counted over 40 for the Drinks Express. And the water temp was over 20 degrees!!!
Jalna and Attracta (not Electra Roger 😉 ) go for an early swim!
The only blue bottles were on the beach this morning and the guys who got stung yesterday were all back swimming today!
Bernard’s really enjoying Booty Camp. Anna just comes to eat sand!
The Drinks Express at Shelly turn around for a wave!
Back to the Surf Club for the 7am arrivals. Here’s Charlie!
Eva, Henrietta, John and Penny. (My apologies Heather got it wrong only Eva and John are single here!)
Now it’s time for the 7amers
Not sure who this guy is??
Lovely to have Annie back! There were a few little waves about too.
A few mullet on the way to Shelly. The water is slowly clearing.
Here is Manly’s most eligible bachelor and soon to be star of his own TV show, Chris Tayls!
I spot a Wobbegong’s tail, a Spangled Emperor, Goatfish, stingrays and groper on the swim back.

Gosh so many singles… and yet as I regularly say… we do B&B best when we swim to Shelly, swim back to Manly, have a wonderful coffee with good friends… and then go on our way!

Well done, Lainey! Rightfully showing you’re not “out of business” at all – at least always 10/10 for trying! Glad to have you by my side at the top of the Org Chart!
Really missed your blogs, so glad to see you’re back in blogging business too!

Great Blog Lainey Loo
Interesting take – Not since I outed “The Toucher” as a single (like a good wingman) has the blog been used this bluntly as a matchmaking tool before.
I’m starting to think a modification to the web site is on its way.
Probably way too much work updating.
Just a clarification.
Are Jalna and Electra … doesn’t matter.
Are they taken or is that a radar antennae on their heads?
Jalna?

… So just had a texting asking me why I only scored a “5” on today’s blog … And another saying “out of 5 I’d give you 1” … So I felt compelled to check it out in more detail …
Quite honestly, between my engagement to Jp, hook-ups with Dreamboat, and fighting off Lesbubbles to win back Rusty’s heart, I’m too tired for anything else 😉

Super Blog Lainey and love the sunrise photo. Also, I think the Spangled Emperor is a Snapper (pink with blue spots with the Stingray and goatfish). They are meant to be hard to get pics of and it’s the first time I’ve seen one on the blog, great stuff.

Brilliant LL ( & helper Heather ). Glad you got the ” T ” on Teddle’s head given he’s yours. Great to see Annie & Nicola back regularly swimming. Agree with Brian, they are ” pink ” snapper.

No it’s a “T” for taken, we have highly evolved internal radars.

Loving your work on The Project by the way

Lovely pics as usual, Lainey-Loo. I agree with Brian about the ID, but I’ll send the pics to expert Mark at the OzMus to be the final arbiter. He won’t see them till Monday nw.

Sorry we missed you out Lesbubbs! I’ve now had some up to date info that I haven’t got my ‘finger on the pulse’ and some of the singles are infact ‘taken’. Of course I’d heard the gossip but thought that was all it was…
