My day is better than your holiday ! sorry but it is…
Booty Camp before the swim, sweat dripping off you & can’t wait to get in the water !
We even had a visit from Victoria’s Secret models today
Modelling this years brightly coloured one piece swim suits !
Even one of my neighbours had her first day,
she even had some of her mothers group with her
Shaun signs up another newbie, didn’t quite catch her name, but I’ve seen her before somewhere !
At long last Bella & the normally shy Annie arrive !
Bella has gone to the trouble to write 500 over Annie so she wont forget why she came !
Only the brave go out thru the swell & anyone who wants to get their 500 badge !
The rest of us took the halfway option.
Getting in @ halfway was a bit of a task given the sets rolling in,
But as true B&Bers we all helped each other in and out.

The B & B Christmas Party is on Tuesday 9th December at 6.30 pm in the Moonshine Bar (2nd Floor) at the Steyne Hotel. All swimmers and partners/friends are welcome. The theme this year is simply “Christmas“. So come dressed in your finest Christmas paraphernalia. There is no need to be shy, as we will have the whole bar to ourselves. The Steyne will provide finger food and pizza, with drinks at bar prices. Lots of fun and dancing guaranteed, with music by our own band “The Troubadors“, who have generously agreed to perform free of charge for us on the night. The cost is $10 per head, with all proceeds going to the running costs of the B&B. Our charity partner, the Royal Far West Children’s Home, will also be running a monster raffle on the night, so please come prepared to support them. Bookings are essential. Book HEREnow! Love your blog Shelly capturing all the atmosphere of a fantastic and fun swim! Great to see Jules and Michael again. Annie and Bella were so brave going out through that surf. Congrats on your 500 kms Annie! Leela isn’t smiling in your cartoon so can that funny Pommy lady really look like her??

Thank you Shelly for your Annie Wannie Woo dedication Blog and Lainey for your excitement…you are very sweet. I was completely overwhelmed with the love today and had a major waterwork alert when entering the ‘champions’ tunnel! This is a special milestone for me as this 500kms has taken determination and some blood, sweat and tears (literally). Thank you all for your wonderful friendship over the last 2 years to get to this point and especially your support returning in the last few weeks. I love ‘youse all so much. Annie xxx
PS. I’m done now…thinking of retiring on a high! (with 500 being the new 1000) 🙂
